External Morphology Characteristics

The upper side of both wings is brown. On the hindwing, there is a thin tail and a black spot next to it. Moreover, on the underside of the wings there is a brown pattern unique for this species.

Behavior

Imago feeds with nectar of various flowers and often flies near the host plant.

Geranium family (Geraniaceae) and the most important is genus Pelargonium.

Habitat

Warm gardens with flowers and geraniums. Elevations: 0-300m.
