External Morphology Characteristics

The butterfly’s forewings have a light brown color and a black spot near the top of the forewing. The underside of the hindwing varies in appearance. In the postdiscal zones S5-S7, a narrow and dark marking is present, followed by a lighter area. The submarginal zone has small white dots, which may or may not be present, and sometimes appear as larger spots.

Behavior

It often rests on blades of grass or leaves of low vegetation. When it lands, it keeps its wings closed.
