External Morphology Characteristics
The butterfly is the smallest butterfly of the genus Erebia in Croatia. The underside of the hindwing is distinctive. It is uniformly brown and most individuals have 1-4 small dark dots in the submarginal zone.
Behavior
Imago feeds with nectar of various flowers.

Family Poaceae.
Habitat
Meadows on the slopes and at the edges of rocky terrains. Elevations: >1400m.
