External Morphology Characteristics
There are fringes at the edges of both wings. The upper side of the wings is dark brown with dark spots surrounded with an orange color. The underside of the hindwing has white markings in postdiscal zone. In some individuals, the white markings looks like a a bit brighter strip with a diffused transition towards the neighboring zones.
Behavior
Imago feeds with nectar of various flowers.

Habitat
Grassland on the slopes at the edges of woodland. Elevations: >1300m.
