External Morphology Characteristics
There are fringes at the edges of both wings. The upper side of the wings is dark brown with dark spots surrounded with orange color. The underside of the hindwing has white markings. The white markings have a sharp edge towards discal zone and a bit diffused edge towards submarginal zone. In some individuals, the white markings looks like a strip.
Behavior
Imago feeds with nectar of various flowers.

Families Poaceae and Cyperaceae.
Habitat
Meadows with flowers at the edge of woodland. Elevations: 600-1400m.
