External Morphology Characteristics
Both sides wings are brown with bright markings more prominent than in Ochlodes sylvanus species. The markings are better visible on the underside.

Males are territorial. Imago feeds with the nectar of various flowers.

Habitat
Meadows & edges of forests. More common in damp habitats. Elevations: 100-1500m.
