External Morphology Characteristics
On the forewings’ upper side there are narrow and elongated tiger-like dark stripes, which are more slender and longer in comparison to the Papilio machaon and Papilio alexanor species. The hindwing’s underside has two thin dark stripes, with a small parallel stripe following the larger discal zone stripe. Along the S1-S4 zone’s edge, there are bluish lunules. The anal angle features an orange spot and a bluish lunules. The hindwing has an extended dark tail.

It has a characteristic flight like a glider.
