External Morphology Characteristics

The palpi is easily identifiable due to their long and distinctive shape, while the orange-brown color of the wings makes identification simple. The hindwing has a jagged appearance, and there is a triangular bulge in the margin of the forewing’s S4 and S5 zones. The underside of the hindwing resembles a dry leaf with its brown coloration.

Behavior

Imago feeds with nectar on flowers and with juices on moist ground. When lands, it keeps wings closed.
