External Morphology Characteristics
In males, the upper side of both wings is blue with a thin and dark border on the forewings. In females, the upper side of both wings is brown with bluish basal and discal zones of the forewing. The underside of both wings is greyish-brown. There is a series of prominent dark spots in discal zone of both wings. The series of spots in the marginal zone is pale. The cell spot of the forewing is visible in some individuals.
Behavior
Imago feeds with nectar of various flowers. It is often found resting on grass or leaves with closed wings.
