External Morphology Characteristics
The wings of Pieris brassicae have a white upper side with a distinct dark tip at the apex that resembles a sickle. Female butterflies have two dark spots on each side of the forewing, while male butterflies have two dark spots on the underside of the forewing only. The underside of the hindwing appears yellowish, with some grey scales.
Behavior
It has migratory abilities. Imago feeds with nectar of various flowers.
