External Morphology Characteristics

The wings’ upper side is brown in females and dark brown in males. The forewing has two dark spots with two small white spots between them. The underside of both wings is brighter in females.

Behavior

It often rests on the ground.

Caterpillar Host Plants

Family Poaceae.

Habitat

Woodland clearances and grassland on the rocky terrains. Elevations: 0-1500m.
