External Morphology Characteristics
The upper side of the wings has a brown color with an orange margin more prominent on the hindwing. The majority of individuals have a black spot at the top of the forewing. The hindwing’s underside has smaller spots that are uniformly sized. In the postdiscal zones, two white spots are present, with the one in S1 sometimes being very small. In S5, there is a larger white spot that is always visible.
Behavior
It often rests on blades of grass or leaves of low vegetation. When it lands, it keeps its wings closed.

Meadows with bushes. Edges of woodlands. Elevations: 0-1500m.
