External Morphology Characteristics

In males, the upper side of the wings is blue with a thin and dark border on the forewing. In females, the upper side of the wings is brown with a bit bluish glare in the basal zone. The brown color of the underside of the wings is more saturated in females. On the hindwing there is a long tail. At the margin zone, near the tail, there are two dark spots with the silver edge.

Behavior

Is capable of migrating.

Caterpillar Host Plants

Family legume (Fabaceae) and heath (Erica sp).

Habitat

Stays on flowering vegetation from gardens to meadows. Elevations: 0-800m.
