External Morphology Characteristics
The butterfly is very similar to Pyrgus malvae species that is distributed on territory of Croatia except Istria peninsula (T. Koren et al., 2013). Genitalia examination is the reference method used to separate two species. Characteristics markings of both species are described here.

Habitat
From waste land to flower meadows overgrown with bushes. Elevations: 0-900m.
