External Morphology Characteristics
The upper side of the wings is brown with velvety greenish tint. The dark spots are surrounded with orange color. The underside of the hindwing is greyish-brown. A darker shade is visible at the edge of the discal zone. Some individuals have small spots in the postdiscal zone. Females are a bit brighter.
Behavior
Imago feeds with nectar of various flowers.

Habitat
Grassland on the slopes and rocky terrains. Elevations: >1200m.
