External Morphology Characteristics

The upper side of both wings is dark brown with white spots. On the underside of both wings, in the submarginal zone, there are two series of dark spots that stretch along the edge of the wings. The mentioned series of dark spots are more visible on the underside of the hindwing. Moreover, there is a white stripe on the hindwing’s discal and postdiscal zones.

Behavior

Imago feeds with nectar on flowers and with juices on moist ground.

Woodland clearances. Elevations: 0-1100m.
