External Morphology Characteristics
Unlike Melanargia galathea, the basal zone of both sides of the wings is gray in Melanargia larissa species. On the underside of the wings, the basal zone is light gray.

Imago feeds with nectar of various flowers.

Habitat
Warm and dry grasslands on the slopes and rocky terrains. Elevations: 0-1500m.
