External Morphology Characteristics
The butterfly is very similar to Pyrgus malvoides species that is distributed on Istria peninsula only (T. Koren et al., 2013). Genitalia examination is the reference method used to separate two species. Below are photos with highlighted markings valid for both species.

From waste land to flower meadows overgrown with bushes. Elevations: 0-1200m.
