External Morphology Characteristics
The veins are prominent on both sides of the wings. The upper side of the wings is brown in color with orange spots in postdiscal zone. The underside of the hindwing is brown in color. Additionally, in postdiscal zone, there is a bright band.
Behavior
Imago often feeds on eryngo nectar. When it lands, it rarely opens its wings.

Family Poaceae.
Habitat
It likes dry and warm meadows on rocky areas next to the downy oak (Quercus pubescens) and maquis. Elevations: 100-1400m.
