External Morphology Characteristics
The upper side of the wings is predominantly white and it has a dark tip at the apex. The shape of this dark tip is that of a right triangle. There are two legs on the wings, one on the costal line and one on the marginal line. The leg on the costal line is approximately 50% longer than the leg on the marginal line. The females have two rounded dark spots on the upper side of the forewing, while males have one or two spots. In both sexes, there are two dark spots on the underside of the forewing. The underside of the hindwing has a yellowish color, with more prominent grey scales in the basal zone. At the fold in the cell, the interruption of the grey scales is slightly more noticeable.
Behavior
It has migratory abilities. Imago feeds with nectar of various flowers.
